Announcing collaboration between 3-Sci and digiLab

+

We are excited to announce a groundbreaking collaboration between 3-Sci and digiLab, which aims to advance plasma control in next-generation fusion energy power plants.

Founded on pioneering high-impact research by the UK’s leading specialists in explainable AI and uncertainty quantification, digiLab works with organisations in highly regulated or safety-critical industries to solve their complex engineering, infrastructure or data challenges. digiLab specialises in solving complex problems where data is sparse, or where uncertainty matters.

This partnership combines 3-Sci’s cutting-edge xtrEMsense® technology with digiLab’s Bayesian Experimental Design expertise to optimise sensor design and deployment and reduce the uncertainties associated with plasma control. This synergy is a significant contribution towards achieving reliable and efficient fusion energy and has been facilitated by UKAEA FIP challenge funding.
